In the early days, the quality management awareness was weak and the quality inspection system was not sound. The quality of curtain wall materials was not strictly controlled, and some non-standard materials flowed into the construction site. During the construction process, there was a lack of quality supervision of key processes. For example, in the sealant construction link, due to the non-standard construction process and uneven application of sealant, the curtain wall had leakage hazards. During the later quality acceptance, a large number of quality problems were found, and large-scale rework had to be carried out, which not only increased costs, but also seriously affected the progress of the project.
Subsequently, the quality management system was strengthened. During the material procurement process, we strictly implement the material incoming inspection system to ensure that all materials meet the quality standards. During the construction process, quality control points are set up to supervise key processes and standardize construction techniques. At the same time, increase the frequency of quality inspections, establish a quality problem traceability mechanism, and severely punish those responsible for quality problems. Through these measures, the quality of curtain wall projects has been significantly improved, the rework rate has been reduced by 10 %, and the one-time acceptance rate has reached more than 98 %, effectively ensuring the smooth progress of the project.
